الخُطْبَةُ الأُوْلَى

إِنَّ الحَمْدَ لِلهِ، نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ، وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ ونَتُوبُ إِلَيه، مَنْ يَهْدِ اللهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ، وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ.

 

 

 

أَمَّا بَعْدُ: فَاتَّقُوا اللهَ حَقَّ التَّقْوَى، وَرَاقِبُوهُ في السِرِّ والنَّجْوَى،قال تعالى ﴿وَاتَّقُوا يَوْمًا تُرْجَعُونَ فِيهِ إِلَى الله﴾.

After that, fear Allah as He should be feared, and watch over Him in secret and in public, 'And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah'

 

عِبَادَ الله: مِنْ أَسْلِحَةِ الشَّيْطَان، وَمَصَادِرِ الأَحْزَانِ: الخَوْفُالمَذْمُوم، وَتَرَاكُمُ الهُمُوْم! قال ابنُ حَزْم: (أَشَدُّ الأَشْيَاءِ على النَّاسِ: الخَوْفُ، والهَمُّ).

Servants of Allah, among the weapons of Satan and sources of sorrow: blameworthy fear and persistent worries! Ibn Hazm said: 'The most severe things upon people are fear and grief'.

 

وَمَنْ كانَ مَعَ اللهِ: كانَ اللهُ مَعَهُ، وأَمَّنَهُ مِمَّا يَخَاف! قال تعالى -عَنْمُوْسَى وَهَارُوْن-: ﴿لَا تَخَافَا إِنَّنِي مَعَكُمَا أَسْمَعُ وَأَرَى﴾.

Whoever is with Allah, Allah is with him and grants him security from what he fears! The Most High said, concerning Moses and Aaron: 'Fear not. Indeed, I am with you both; I hear and I see'.

 

وَخَوفُ الآخِرَةِ، يُهَوِّنُ مَصَائِبَ الدُّنْيَا، وَيُبَدِّدُ مَخَاوِفَهَا! قال بعضُ السَّلَف: (مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ تُصِيْبُنِي، فَأَذْكُرُ مَعَهَا النَّار؛ إلا صَارَتْ في عَيْنِي مِثْلَ التُّرَاب!).

The fear of the Hereafter lightens the calamities of this world and dispels its fears! Some of the early generations said: 'Whenever a calamity befalls me, and I remember the Hellfire along with it, it becomes in my eyes like dust'.

 

 

 

 

وَكَيْفَ يَخَافُ الإِنْسَانُ مِنْ مُسْتَقْبَلِ الدُّنْيَا الفَانِيَة، وَلا يَخَافُ مِنْ مُسْتَقْبَلِ الآخِرَةِ البَاقِيَةِ!؟ قال تعالى: ﴿وَلَلدَّارُ الْآخِرَةُ خَيْرٌ لِلَّذِينَ يَتَّقُونَ أَفَلَا تَعْقِلُونَ﴾.

How can a person fear the fleeting future of this world and not fear the everlasting future of the Hereafter? The Most High said: 'But the home of the Hereafter is best for those who fear Allah, so will you not reason?'

 

وَمِنْ وَسَاوُسِ الشَّيْطَانِ: التخَوْيفُ مِنَ الفَقْرِ! قال تعالى: ﴿الشَّيْطَانُ يَعِدُكُمُ الْفَقْرَ وَيَأْمُرُكُمْ بِالْفَحْشَاءِ﴾. قال ابنُ الجَوْزِيّ: (أَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ يَتْعَبُ في تَحْصِيلِ الرِّزْقِ، بِحِرْصٍ زَائِدٍعَلَى الحَدِّ، وَلا يَحْصُلُ لَهُ إِلَّا مَا قُدِّر!).

One of the whispers of Satan is the fear of poverty. Allahsaid: 'Satan promises you poverty and orders you to immorality'. Ibn al-Jawzi said: 'Most people exhaust themselves in the pursuit of sustenance due to excessive greed, and they only attain what has been decreed for them'.

 

وَمِنْ أَوْهَامِ الخَوْفِ: أَنْ يَتْرُكَ الإِنسانُ مَا يَجِبُ عَلَيْهِ؛ خَوْفًا مِنَالنَّاسِ! فَإِنَّ قَوْلَ الحَقِّ: لَا يُقَرِّبُ أَجَلاً مَوْقُوْتًا، وَلَا يَقْطَعُ رِزْقًامَكْتُوْبًا! قال ﷺ: (لَا يَمْنَعَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ مَخَافَةُ النَّاسِ: أَنْ يَتَكَلَّمَ بِحَقٍّ إِذَا عَلِمَهُ). قَالَ الإِمَامُ أَحْمَدُ: (وَهَذَا فِيمَنْ يَتْرُكُ الحَقَّ؛خَشْيَةَ مَلَامَةِ النَّاسِ، وَهُوَ قَادِرٌ عَلَى القِيَامِ بِهِ).

One of the delusions of fear is that a person may neglect what is obligatory upon them out of fear of people!Indeed, speaking the truth does not bring forward an appointed term, nor does it cut off a preordained provision. The Prophet ﷺ said, 'Let not fear of people prevent one of you from speaking the truth if he knows it.' Imam Ahmad said, 'This applies to someone who refrains from speaking the truth due to the fear of people, while he is capable of doing so.'

وَمِنْ كَيْدِ الشَّيْطَانِ: أَنَّهُ يُخَوِّف المُؤْمِنِينَ مِنْ جُنُوْدِهِ! قال تعالى: ﴿إِنَّمَا ذَلِكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ يُخَوِّفُ أَوْلِيَاءَهُ فَلا تَخَافُوهُمْ وَخَافُونِ إِنْ كُنْتُمْ مُؤْمِنِينَ﴾: أَيْ يُخَوِّفُكُمْ بِأَوْلِيَائِهِ، وَيُعَظِّمُهُمْ في صُدُوْرِكُمْ؛ فَلَا تَخَافُوْهُمْ، وَأَفْرِدُوْنِي بِالمَخَافَةِ: أَكْفِكُمْ إِيَّاهُمْ!وَمَنْ خَافَ اللهَ: خَوَّفَ اللهُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ شَيْء. وَمَنْ لَمْ يَخَفِ اللهَ: خَوَّفَهُاللهُ مِنْ كُلِّ شَيْء!

Among the tricks of Satan is that he intimidates the believers with his allies. The Most High said: 'That is only Satan who frightens [you] of his supporters. So fear them not, but fear Me, if you are [indeed] believers.' Meaning, he intimidates you with his allies and magnifies them in your hearts, so do not fear them. Dedicate your fear exclusively to Me, and I will be sufficient for you. Whoever fears Allah, everything fears him, and whoever does not fear Allah, Allah makes him fear everything.

 

وَالثِّقَةُ بِاللهِ؛ تَقْطَعُ أَوْهَامَ الخَوْفِ، وَلَوْلَا ثِقَةُ أُمِّ مُوْسَى بِرَبِّهَا؛ لَمَا أَلْقَتْ بِوَلَدِهَا! قال تعالى: ﴿فَإِذَا خِفْتِ عَلَيْهِ فَأَلْقِيهِ فِي الْيَمِّ وَلَا تَخَافِي وَلَا تَحْزَنِي﴾.

And trust in Allah dispels the illusions of fear. Had not the mother of Moses trusted in her Lord, she would not have cast her child into the river. Allah said: 'And when you fear for him, cast him into the river and fear not, and do not grieve.'

 

وَمَنْ خَافَ شَيْئًا غَيْرَ الله، أو تَشَاءَمَ بِهِ؛ سُلِّطَ عليه! وهَذِهِسُنَّةُ اللهِ في خَلْقِه قال تعالى: ﴿وَلَنْ تَجِدَ لِسُنَّةِ اللهِ تَبْدِيلًا﴾.

Whoever fears something or has apprehensions about it other than Allah, that thing gains authority over him. This is the way of Allah in His creation. Allah said: 'And you will not find any change in the way of Allah.'

وَالمُؤْمِنُ لا يَخَافُ المَوْتَ؛ لِأَنَّهُ نِهَايَةُ المَخَاوفِ وَالأَحْزَانِ، وَبَوَّابَةُ الدُّخُوْلِ إلى دَارِ الأَمَانِ، لِأَهْلِ الإِيْمَانِ! قال تعالى: ﴿إِنَّ الَّذِينَ قَالُوا رَبُّنَا اللهُ ثُمَّ اسْتَقَامُوا تَتَنَزَّلُ عَلَيْهِمُ المَلَائِكَةُ أَنْ لا تَخَافُوا وَلَا تَحْزَنُوا وَأَبْشِرُوا بِالجَنَّةِ﴾، قال وكيعُ: (البُشْرَى تَكُونُ فِي ثَلَاثَةِ مَوَاطِنَ: عِنْدَ المَوْتِ، وَفِي القَبْرِ، وَعِنْدَ البَعْثِ).

The believer does not fear death because it marks the end of fears and sorrows, and it serves as the gateway to enter the abode of safety for the people of faith. Allah said: 'Indeed, those who have said, "Our Lord is Allah" and then remained steadfast, the angels will descend upon them, [saying], Do not fear and do not grieve but receive good tidings of Paradise.' Waki' ibn al-Jarrah said: 'Glad tidings come in three moments: at the time of death, in the grave, and at the time of resurrection.'

 

وَمَنْ بَحَثَ عَنْ الأَمْنِ وَالأُنْسِ في مَعْصِيَةِ اللهِ: اِنْقَلَبَ عَلَيْهِالأَمْرُ رَأْسًا عَلَى عَقِب! فَأَصْبَحَ أَمْنُهُ خَوْفًا، وَأُنْسُهُ هَمًّا وَغَمًّا! قال ابنُ القَيِّم: (مِنْ عُقُوبَاتِ المَعْصِيَةِ: مَا يُلْقِيهِ اللهُ في قَلْبِ العَاصِي، فَلَا تَرَاهُ إِلَّا خَائِفًا مَرْعُوبًا! فَإِنَّ الطَّاعَةَ: حِصْنُ اللهِ الْأَعْظَمُ: مَنْ دَخَلَهُ كَانَ مِنَ الْآمِنِينَ!).

Whoever seeks security and comfort in disobedience to Allah, the situation will turn upside down for him. His security will become fear, and his comfort will turn into anxiety and distress. Ibn al-Qayyim said: 'Among the punishments of sin is what Allah casts into the heart of the sinner, so you see him nothing but fearful and terrified. Indeed, obedience is the greatest fortress of Allah; whoever enters it will be among the secure. '

 

أَقُوْلُ قَوْلِي هَذَا، وَاسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ لِيْ وَلَكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ؛ فَاسْتَغْفِرُوْهُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحِيم

الخُطْبَةُ الثَّانِيَةُ

الحَمْدُ للهِ عَلَى إِحْسَانِهِ، والشُّكْرُ لَهُ عَلَى تَوْفِيْقِهِ وَامْتِنَانِه، وَأَشْهَدُ أَلَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُوْلُه.

أَمَّا بَعْدُ: المُحَافَظَةُ على الأَدعِيَةِ والأَذكَارِ: أَمَانٌ مِنَ المَخَاوُفِ وَالأَخطَارِ؛ وَمِنْ أَذْكَارِالصبَاحِ وَالمَساءِ: قَوْلُهُ ﷺ: (اللَّهُمَّ اسْتُرْ عَوْرَاتِي، وَآمِنْ رَوْعَاتِي).

After this, maintaining the supplications and remembrances is a shield from fears and dangers. Among the morning and evening supplications is the saying of the Prophet O Allah ﷺ, 'conceal my faults and calm my fears.'

وَمَنْ اسْتَحْضَرَ هَيْبَةَ اللهِ، وَسَلَّمَ أَمْرَهُ لِله، وَعَلِمَ أَنَّهُ لَنْ يُصِيبَهُ إِلَّا مَا كُتِبَ لَهُ؛ فَلَنْ يَكْتَرِثَ لِهَيْبَةِ المَخلُوْقِينَ، وَلَنْ يَبْقَى في قَلْبِهِ مَوْضِعٌ لِخَوفِهِم! قال تعالى: ﴿أَلَيْسَ اللهُ بِكَافٍ عَبْدَهُ وَيُخَوِّفُونَكَ بِالَّذِينَ مِنْ دُونِهِ﴾.

Whoever invokes the awe of Allah, submits their affairs to Him, and knows that nothing will befall them except what is decreed for them, will not be concerned about the awe of the creatures. In their heart, there will be no place for fear of them. Allah said: 'Is not Allah sufficient for His Servant, [yet] they threaten you with those [they worship] other than Him?'

 

وَكُلُّ أَحَدٍ إِذَا خِفْتَهُ: هَرَبْتَ مِنْهُ، إِلَّا الله ﷻ؛ فَإِنَّكَ إِذَا خِفْتَهُ؛ فَرَرْتَ إِلَيْهِ! قالَ ابْنُ القَيِّم: (فِي القَلْبِ قَلَقٌ لَا يُسَكِّنُهُ إِلَّا الِاجْتِمَاعُ عَلَى اللهِ، وَالفِرَارُ مِنْهُ إِلَيْهِ!) قال تعالى: ﴿فَفِرُّوا إِلَى اللهِ إِنِّي لَكُمْ مِنْهُ نَذِيرٌ مُبِينٌ﴾.

Whenever you fear anyone, you run away from them, except Allah. For when you fear Him, you run towards Him. Ibn al-Qayyim said: 'In the heart, there is an anxiety that can only be pacified by turning to and seeking refuge in Allah.' Allah said: 'So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.'

* اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الإِسْلامَ والمُسْلِمِينَ، وأَذِلَّ الشِّرْكَ والمُشْرِكِيْن.

* اللَّهُمَّ فَرِّجْ هَمَّ المَهْمُوْمِيْنَ، وَنَفِّسْ كَرْبَ المَكْرُوْبِين.

* عِبَادَ الله: ﴿إِنَّ اللهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالإحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ﴾.

* فَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ يَذْكُرْكُمْ، وَاشْكُرُوْهُ على نِعَمِهِ يَزِدْكُمْ ﴿وَلَذِكْرُ اللهِ أَكْبَرُ وَاللهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَصْنَعُونَ﴾.
