الخُطْبَةُ الأُوْلَى

إِنَّ الْحَمْدَ لِلهِ، نَحْمَدُهُ وَنَسْتَعِينُهُ، وَنَسْتَغْفِرُهُ ونَتُوبُ إِلَيه، مَنْ يَهْدِ اللهُ فَلَا مُضِلَّ لَهُ، وَمَنْ يُضْلِلْ فَلَا هَادِيَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنْ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ.

أَمَّا بَعْدُ: فَاتَّقُوا اللهَ وَرَاقِبُوْهُ، فَالتَّقْوَى سَبَبٌ لِلْخَيرِ، والنَّجَاةِ مِنَ الشَّرِّ! قال تعالى: ﴿وَلَوْ أَنَّهُمْ آمَنُوا وَاتَّقَوْا لَمَثُوبَةٌ مِنْ عِنْدِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ﴾.

Ibad Allah, fear Allah and be vigilant. Taqwa (piety and mindfulness of God) is a means to goodness and salvation from evil. Allah said: 'And if they had believed and feared Allah, for them would have been a reward from Allah, it would have been far better.'

عِبَادَ اللهِ: إِنَّ لَحْظَةُ النَّفْخِ في الصُّوْرِ هي الصَّاخَّةُ المُدَوّيَةُ،وَالطَّامَّةُ المُرْعِبَةُ، وَبِدَايَةُ البَعْثِ وَالنُّشُوْر! قال تعالى: ﴿فَإِذَا جَاءتِ الصَّاخَّةُ﴾. قال المُفَسِّرُوْن: (يَعْنِي صَيْحَةَ الْقِيَامَةِ،سُمِّيَتْ بِذَلِكَ؛ لِأَنَّهَا تَصُخُّ الْأَسْمَاعَ، أَيْ تُبَالِغُ فِي إِسْمَاعِهَا؛حتَّى تَكَادَ تُصِمُّهَا لِشِدَّتِهَا، وَقُوَّةِ وَقْعَتِهَا).

Servants of Allah, indeed, the moment of blowing in the Trumpet is the deafening, terrifying blast—the beginning of resurrection and gathering! Allah says: ' But when there comes the Deafening Blast.' The interpreters say: (It means the shout of the resurrection, named so because it deafens the ears, meaning it exaggerates in its audibility, almost rendering them deaf due to its intensity and the strength of its impact).."

 

وَنَفْخَةُ الصُّوْر: حَقٌّ لا رَيْبَ فِيْهِ، وَيَقِيْنٌ لَا شَكَّ فِيه؛ وَلِذَا وَصَفَها اللهُ بِقَوْلِهِ: ﴿وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ﴾: قال الشَّوْكَانِي: (وَعَبَّرَ عَنِ المُسْتَقْبَلِ بِلَفْظِ المَاضِي؛ تَنْبِيهًا عَلَى تَحَقُّقِ وُقُوعِهِ!).

The blowing of the Trumpet is a reality without a doubt, a certainty without ambiguity. Therefore, Allah described it with His words: 'And the Horn will be blown'. Al-Shawkani said: (And He expressed it using the past tense to indicate the certainty of its occurrence).

 

والنَّفْخُ في الصُّوْرِ: يَقَعُ مَرَّتَيْن: الأُوْلَى: يَحْصُلُ بِهَا الصَّعْق، والثَّانِيَة: يَحْصُلُ بِهَا البَعْث؛

The blowing in the Trumpet occurs twice: the first time causes a shock, and the second time brings about resurrection.

 

 

 

قال تعالى: ﴿وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَصَعِقَ مَنْ فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ وَمَنْ فِي الأَرْضِ إِلا مَنْ شَاءَ الله ثُمَّ نُفِخَ فِيهِ أُخْرَى فَإِذَا هُمْ قِيَامٌ يَنْظُرُونَ﴾. قال ابنُ حَجَر: (هُمَا نَفْخَتَان؛ فَالأُوْلَى: يَمُوتُفِيهَا كُلُّ مَنْ كانَ حَيًّا، وَيُغْشَى على مَنْ لَمْ يَمُتْ مِمَّنِاسْتَثْنَى اللهُ، والثَّانِيَة: يَعِيشُ بِهَا مَنْ مَات، وَيُفِيقُبِهَا مَنْ غُشِيَ عَلَيْه).

Allah says: 'And the Horn will be blown, and whoever is in the heavens and whoever is on the earth will fall dead except whom Allah wills. Then it will be blown again, and at once they will be standing, looking on.' Ibn Hajar said: (These are two blowings. The first causes the death of everyone who is alive, and those exempted by Allah will lose consciousness. The second one brings back to life those who died, and those who lost consciousness will regain awareness).

 

وَما بَيْنَ النَّفْخَتَيْنِ: أَرْبَعُونَ سَنَةٍ، قال بَعضُ العُلَمَاء: (اتَّفَقَتِ الرِّوَايَاتُ عَلَى ذَلِكَ). قال ﷺ: (مَا بَيْنَ النَّفْخَتَيْنِ أَرْبَعُونَ).

And the period between the two blowings is forty years. Some of the scholars have stated: (The narrations areall on agreements on this). The Prophet ﷺ said: 'The period between the two blowings is forty years.'

 

والمُوَكَّلُ بِالنَّفْخِ في الصُّوْر: هُوَ أَحَدُ المَلَائِكَةِ المُكْرَمِيْنَ، وَحَمَلَةِ العَرْشِ المُقَرَّبِيْنَ! قال تعالى: ﴿وَاسْتَمِعْ يَوْمَ يُنَادِ المُنَادِ مِنْ مَكَانٍ قَرِيبٍ* يَوْمَ يَسْمَعُونَ الصَّيْحَةَ بِالحَقِّ﴾ قَالَ المُفَسِّرُونَ: (المُنَادِي: هُوَ إِسْرَافِيلُ u، يَنْفُخُ فِي الصُّورِ، وَيُنَادِي:أَيَّتُهَا الْعِظَامُ الْبَالِيَةُ، وَاللُّحُومُ المُتَمَزِّقَةُ، وَالشُّعُورُ المُتَفَرِّقَةُ؛ إِنَّ اللهَ يَأْمُرُكُنَّ أَنْ تَجْتَمِعْنَ لِفَصْلِ القَضَاءِ!).

The one tasked with blowing in the Trumpet is one of the honored angels and a bearer of the Throne, among those brought near! Allah says: 'And listen for the Day when the Caller will call out from a place that is near - The Day they will hear the blast [of the Horn] in truth.' The interpreters said: (The Caller is Israfil, who blows in the Trumpet and calls: 'O disintegrated bones, scattered flesh, and dispersed body parts! Indeed, Allah commands you to gather for the resolution of judgment.')

 

وَصَاحِبُ الصُّوْرِ: مُسْتَعِدٌّ لِلْنَّفْخِ فِيه، مُنْذُ أَنْ خَلَقَهُ الله! قال ﷺ: (إِنَّ طَرْفَ صَاحِبِ الصُّورِ، مُذْ وُكِّلَ بِهِ، مُسْتَعِدٌّ يَنْظُرُ نَحْوَ الْعَرْشِ؛ مَخَافَةَ أَنْ يُؤْمَرَ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْتَدَّ إِلَيْهِ طَرْفُهُ!).

The companion of the Trumpet is prepared for the blowing in it, ever since Allah created him. The Prophetﷺ said: 'Indeed, the one entrusted with the Trumpet, constantly ready, gazes towards the Throne, fearing that he might be commanded before turning his gaze back to it'.

 

وَحِينَ يُنْفَخُ في الصُّوْر: تَنْقَطِعُ الأَسْبَابُ والأَنْسَابُ؛ فَلَا يَبْقَى إِلَّا نَسَبُ الإِيْمانِ، وطَاعَةِ الرَّحْمَن! ! قال تعالى: ﴿فَإِذَا نُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَلَا أَنْسَابَ بَيْنَهُمْ يَوْمَئِذٍ وَلَا يَتَسَاءَلُونَ﴾. قال ابنُعَبَّاس t: (أَيْ: لا يَتَفَاخَرُونَ بِالأَنْسَابِ: كما كَانُوا يَتَفَاخَرُونَ في الدُّنيا، وَلَا يَتَسَاءَلُونَ سُؤَالَ تَوَاصُلٍ:كما كَانُوا يَتَسَاءَلُونَ في الدُّنيا).

And when the Trumpet is blown, all worldly connections and lineages will be severed, leaving only the lineage of faith and obedience to the Most Merciful. Allah said: 'So when the Horn is blown, there will be no relationships among them that Day, nor will they ask about one another.' Ibn Abbas said: (Meaning they will not boast about their lineages as they used to do in the world, and they will not inquire about each other's well-being as they used to do in the world).

وَنَفْخَةُ الصُّوْرِ تَأْتِي عَلَى النَّاسِ بَغْتَة، فَبَيْنَما هُمْ يَتَخَاصَمُونَ في مَتَاجِرِهِمْ، وَغَافِلُونَ في دُنْيَاهُمْ؛ إِذْ تَأْخُذُهُمْ فَجْأَة! ! قال تعالى: ﴿مَا يَنْظُرُونَ إِلَّا صَيْحَةً وَاحِدَةً تَأْخُذُهُمْ وَهُمْ يَخِصِّمُونَ* فَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُونَ تَوْصِيَةً وَلَا إِلَى أَهْلِهِمْ يَرْجِعُونَ﴾. 

And the blowing of the Trumpet will come upon the people suddenly, while they are disputing in their transactions and engrossed in their worldly affairs, and it will seize them all of a sudden. Allah said: 'They do not await except one blast which will seize them while they are disputing. And they will not be able [to give] any instruction, nor to their people can they return'

 

وَقَبْلَ النفْخَةِ الثَّانِيَة: ! جاء في الحديث (يُنْزِلُ اللهُ مَطَرًا؛فَتَنْبُتُ مِنْهُ أَجْسَادُ النَّاسِ، ثُمَّ يُنْفَخُ فِيهِ أُخْرَى، فَإِذَا هُمْ قِيَامٌ يَنْظُرُونَ، ثُمَّ يُقَالُ: يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ، هَلُمَّوا إِلَى رَبِّكُمْ، ﴿وَقِفُوهُمْ إِنَّهُمْ مَسْئُولُونَ﴾).

And before the second blowing [of the Trumpet], it is mentioned in the hadith: 'Allah will send down rain, and the bodies of people will grow from it. Then another blowing will occur, and suddenly they will be standing, looking on. Then it will be said, 'O mankind, come to your Lord, ‘And stop them, for indeed, they are to be questioned."

 

وَإِذَا وَقَعَتِ النَّفْخَةُ الثَّانِيَةُ؛ خَرَجَ النَّاسُ مِنْ قُبُوْرِهِمْ سِرَاعًا إلى أَرْضِ المَحْشَرِ وَالجَزَاءِ! ! قال تعالى: ﴿وَنُفِخَ فِي الصُّورِ فَإِذَا هُم مِّنَ الْأَجْدَاثِ إِلَى رَبِّهِمْ يَنسِلُونَ﴾.

When the second trumpet is blown, people will rush out of their graves swiftly to the gathering place and the recompense! Allah said: 'And the Horn will be blown, and behold, from the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord.'

أَقُوْلُ قَوْلِي هَذَا، وَاسْتَغْفِرُ اللهَ لِيْ وَلَكُمْ مِنْ كُلِّ ذَنْبٍ؛ فَاسْتَغْفِرُوْهُ إِنَّهُ هُوَ الغَفُورُ الرَّحِيم

 

الخُطْبَةُ الثَّانِيَةُ

الْحَمْدُ للهِ عَلَى إِحْسَانِه، والشُّكْرُ لَهُ عَلَى تَوْفِيْقِهِ وَامْتِنَانِه، وَأَشْهَدُ أَلَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا الله، وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُوْلُه، وَآلِهِ وَأَصْحَابِه وأَتْبَاعِه.

 

أَمَّا بَعْدُ: فَلَوْ لَمْ يَكُنْ بَيْنَ يَدِي السَّاعَة؛ إِلَّا هَوْلُ النَّفْخَةِ؛لَكَانَ ذَلِكَ جَدِيْرًا بِالخَوْفِ وَالوَجَلِ، وَالأَخْذِ بِالجِدِّ وَالعَمَلِ!

As for what comes next: If there were not the imminent arrival of the Hour, except for the horror of the trumpet's blast, it would still be deserving of fear, awe, earnestness, and action.

 

فَيَا مَنْ ضَاعَ عُمُرُه في المعاصي وَالفُجُور؛ مَاذَا يَكُونُ مَوْقِفُكَإِذَا نُفِخَ في الصُّوْرِ، ! قال تعالى: ﴿بُعْثِرَ مَا فِي الْقُبُورِ* وَحُصِّلَ مَا فِي الصُّدُورِ﴾؟!

So, for those who wasted their lives in disobedience and immorality, what will your situation be when the trumpet is blown? Allah said: 'The contents of the graves will be scattered, and what is in the breasts will be made known.'

 

وَإِذَا كانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ يَخْشَى مِنْ نَفْخَةِ الصُّوْرِ؛ فَكَيْفَبِحَالِنَا؟! قال ﷺ: (كَيْفَ أَنْعَمُ، وَصَاحِبُ القَرْنِ قَدِ التَقَمَ القَرْنَ،وَاسْتَمَعَ الإِذْنَ؛ مَتَى يُؤْمَرُ بِالنَّفْخِ فَيَنْفُخُ): أي كَيْفَ أَفْرَحُ وَأَتَنَعَّمُ؛ وَصَاحِبَ الصُّورِ قد وَضَعَ الصُّورَ فِي فَمِهِ، وَهُوَ مُتَرَقِّبٌ لِأَنْ يُؤْمَرَ فَيَنْفُخَ فِيهِ، وفي الحديث: حَثٌّ لِلْصَّحَابَةِ على الوَصِيَّةِ لِمَنْبَعْدَهُمْ، بِالتَّهَيُّؤِ لِلْسَّاعَةِ وأَهْوَالِهَا!

If the Prophet ﷺ used to fear the blow of the trumpet, then what about our situation?! He ﷺ said: 'How can I enjoy, while the one with the horn has placed the horn to his mouth, waiting for the command to blow?' Meaning, how can I be joyous and comfortable when the angel Israfil, who is in charge of blowing the trumpet, has already placed the trumpet to his mouth and is ready to blow. In the hadith, there is an encouragement for the companions to prepare for the Hereafter by making wills and being ready for the Hour and its tribulations.

* اللَّهُمَّ أَعِزَّ الإِسْلامَ والمُسْلِمِينَ، وأَذِلَّ الشِّرْكَ والمُشْرِكِيْن.

* اللَّهُمَّ فَرِّجْ هَمَّ المَهْمُوْمِيْنَ، وَنَفِّسْ كَرْبَ المَكْرُوْبِين.

* اللَّهُمَّ اغْفِرْ للمسلمين والمسلمات، الأحياءِ مِنْهُمْ والأموات.

* ﴿رَبَّنَا آتِنَا فِي الدُّنْيَا حَسَنَةً وَفِي الْآخِرَةِ حَسَنَةً وَقِنَا عَذَابَ النَّارِ﴾.

* عِبَادَ الله: ﴿إِنَّ اللهَ يَأْمُرُ بِالْعَدْلِ وَالإحْسَانِ وَإِيتَاءِ ذِي الْقُرْبَى وَيَنْهَى عَنِ الْفَحْشَاءِ وَالْمُنْكَرِ وَالْبَغْيِ يَعِظُكُمْ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ﴾.

* فَاذْكُرُوا اللهَ يَذْكُرْكُمْ، وَاشْكُرُوْهُ على نِعَمِهِ يَزِدْكُمْ ﴿وَلَذِكْرُ اللهِ أَكْبَرُ وَاللهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَصْنَعُونَ﴾.
