Things that Invalidate Islam

First Sermon:  

All praise is due and belongs to Allah. We praise Him, seek His help and forgiveness and repent to Him. We seek refuge with Allah from the evils of ourselves and from the wickedness of our own deeds. Whomever that Allah guides, none can mislead him, and whomever He sends astray, none can guide. I bear witness that there is no deity worthy of worship but Allah alone with no partner, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger  

  

.  

( يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُواْ اتَّقُواْ اللّهَ حَقَّ تُقَاتِهِ وَلاَ تَمُوتُنَّ إِلاَّ وَأَنتُم مُّسْلِمُونَ )    

(O you who believe, fear Allah as he should be feared and die not unless you are Muslims) [Al-Imran: 102]   

  

  

( يَا أَيُّهَا النَّاسُ اتَّقُواْ رَبَّكُمُ الَّذِي خَلَقَكُم مِّن نَّفْسٍ وَاحِدَةٍ وَخَلَقَ مِنْهَا زَوْجَهَا وَبَثَّ مِنْهُمَا رِجَالاً كَثِيرًا وَنِسَاء وَاتَّقُواْ اللّهَ الَّذِي تَسَاءلُونَ بِهِ وَالأَرْحَامَ إِنَّ اللّهَ كَانَ عَلَيْكُمْ رَقِيبًا )  

(O people fear your Lord, who created you from a single soul. From it, He created its spouse, and from both of them scattered many men and women. Fear Allah, by whom you ask one another, and (fear) the wombs (lest you sever its relationship). Allah is ever watching over you.) [An-Nisa: 1].  

  

  

(يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللَّهَ وَقُولُوا قَوْلًا سَدِيدًا * يُصْلِحْ لَكُمْ أَعْمَالَكُمْ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ وَمَن يُطِعْ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ فَقَدْ فَازَ فَوْزًا عَظِيمًا)  

 (O you, who believe, fear Allah and say sound statements. He will mend your deeds for you and forgive your sins. Whosoever obeys Allah and His Messenger shall win a great victory) [Al-Ahzab: 70-71].  

   

  

  

First sermon:  

Ponder over what Allah has granted you of blessings; wealth, children, wife, health, limbs and religion ... and then think about Allah's greatest blessings upon you! Blessings in which there is no harm on you!  

As for the wealth and children, they may be the reason for you to undergo trial:  

  

  

( وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ أَنَّمَآ أَمۡوَٲلُڪُمۡ وَأَوۡلَـٰدُكُمۡ فِتۡنَةٌ۬)   

And know that your possessions and your children are but a trial [Al-Anfal: 28].  

As for the wives, they may become part of your enemies:  

  

  

( يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوٓاْ إِنَّ مِنۡ أَزۡوَٲجِكُمۡ وَ     أَوۡلَـٰدِڪُمۡ عَدُوًّ۬ا لَّڪُمۡ فَٱحۡذَرُوهُمۡ )  

O you who believe! Lo! Among your wives and your children there are enemies for you, therefore beware of them. [At-Taghabun: 14].  

  

  

As regards the limbs, they may testify against you on the Day of Judgment:  

  

( يَوۡمَ تَشۡہَدُ عَلَيۡہِمۡ أَلۡسِنَتُهُمۡ وَأَيۡدِيہِمۡ وَأَرۡجُلُهُم بِمَا كَانُواْ يَعۡمَلُونَ   )  

On the Day when their tongues, their hands, and their legs (or feet) will bear witness against them as to what they used to do [An-Nur: 24].   

  

  

Regarding the health, it may render a person arrogant.  

No blessing will abide forever except one, the greatest of all blessings, which is Islam. The Almighty Allah said,  

  

  

( وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ حَبَّبَ إِلَيۡكُمُ ٱلۡإِيمَـٰنَ وَزَيَّنَهُ ۥ فِى قُلُوبِكُمۡ )  

But Allâh has endeared the Faith to you and has beautified it in your hearts [Al-Hujuraat: 7].  

  

  

That is salvation from hell, and the gateway to Paradise, for "None will enter Paradise but a Muslim"(Agreed upon).  

  

  

I say: even if a Muslim commits sins and enters the hellfire, Islam will benefit him, " When the people of Paradise will enter Paradise and the people of Hell will go to Hell, Allah will order those who have had faith equal to the weight of a grain of mustard seed to be taken out from Hell" (Agreed upon).  

  

  

There is no Muslim who fulfilled tauhid (Islamic monotheism) that will be immortalized in Hell fire.  

  

  

Indeed, when Islam was the greatest blessing, the greatest admonitions and commandments of conscious and thoughtful people for their offspring was to die in Islam. Allah the Almighty said,  

  

  

   ( وَوَصَّىٰ بِہَآ إِبۡرَٲهِـۧمُ بَنِيهِ وَيَعۡقُوبُ يَـٰبَنِىَّ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ٱصۡطَفَىٰ لَكُمُ ٱلدِّينَ فَلَا تَمُوتُنَّ إِلَّا وَأَنتُم مُّسۡلِمُونَ )  

And this (submission to Allâh, Islâm) was enjoined by Ibrâhim (Abraham) upon his sons and by Ya'qûb (Jacob), (saying), "O my sons! Allâh has chosen for you the (true) religion, then die not except in the Faith of Islâm (as Muslims - Islâmic Monotheism) [Al-Baqarah: 132].  

  

  

  

When the structure of Islam rests on the oneness of Allah and to unify Him with worship and purify Him of partners, likes, helper and child, and is built upon absolute obedience and full submission to Allah and that brought by His messenger (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), out of humility, modesty, subservience and desire in that with Allah, the Almighty, and upon the arbitration of His law and to prefer it to any other law, gaining complete knowledge about something requires having full knowledge about things that may prejudice, ruin and nullify that thing.  Hudhaifa bin al-Yaman says, "People used to ask the Messenger of Allah, (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) about good, but I used to ask him about evil for fear that it might overtake me" (Agreed upon).    

  

  

  

  

Hence, the need for knowledge about the things that invalidate Islam, especially those committed by many Muslims today because committing these invalidators suffices to remove one from the fold of Islam. These invalidators include the following:   

  

  

  

First invalidator: Polytheism (associating partners with Allah). It is the most dangerous of all things that invalidate Islam as a whole. The fundamental meaning of Shirk is to equate with Allah the Almighty, His creatures in some qualities that He alone deserves. So whoever worships other than Allah or relies upon other than Him, is a (Mushrik) polytheist. Allah the Almighty said,  

  

  

( إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَغۡفِرُ أَن يُشۡرَكَ بِهِۦ وَيَغۡفِرُ مَا دُونَ ذَٲلِكَ لِمَن يَشَآءُ‌ۚ وَمَن يُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ ضَلَّ ضَلَـٰلاَۢ بَعِيدًا )  

Verily! Allâh forgives not (the sin of) setting up partners (in worship) with Him, but He forgives whom He wills sins other than that, and whoever sets up partners in worship with Allâh, has indeed strayed far away [An-Nisaa: 116].   

  

  

  

And which misguidance is beyond when you set rivals to Allah who has created you?! Allah, the Almighty also said,  

  

  

  

( إِنَّهُ ۥ مَن يُشۡرِكۡ بِٱللَّهِ فَقَدۡ حَرَّمَ ٱللَّهُ عَلَيۡهِ ٱلۡجَنَّةَ وَمَأۡوَٮٰهُ ٱلنَّارُ‌ۖ وَمَا لِلظَّـٰلِمِينَ مِنۡ أَنصَارٍ )  

Verily, whosoever sets up partners (in worship) with Allâh, then Allâh has forbidden Paradise to him, and the Fire will be his abode. And for the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) there are no helpers [Al-Maedah: 72].  

  

  

  

Associating partners with Allah takes many forms. Some of its contemporary forms are as follows:  

  

  

• To direct any of the types of worship to other than Allah, such as to sacrifice and make vow to other than the Almighty, as it is done at the shrines.  
• To appoint intermediaries between a person and his Lord, whom he invokes and relies upon! How similar is their act to the act of the ancient people, who said,  
•  

( مَا نَعۡبُدُهُمۡ إِلَّا لِيُقَرِّبُونَآ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ زُلۡفَىٰٓ  )  

We worship them only that they may bring us near to Allâh [Az-Zumar: 3].  

  

Allah the Almighty has said forbidding and warning of this,  

  

( وَلَا تَدۡعُ مِن دُونِ ٱللَّهِ مَا لَا يَنفَعُكَ وَلَا يَضُرُّكَ‌ۖ فَإِن فَعَلۡتَ فَإِنَّكَ إِذً۬ا مِّنَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ)  

And invoke not besides Allâh, any that will neither profit you, nor hurt you, but if (in case) you did so, you shall certainly be one of the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers) [Yunus: 106].  

  

  

Second invalidator: Not considering the polytheists as unbelievers, or to nurse suspicion about their disbelief, or to consider their beliefs as sound, or prefer them to the principles of Islam. This is like the attitude of some who are afflicted with the madness of civilizations that are anti-Islam and contrary to its teachings. Those who advocate to renounce the teachings of Islam and to follow the West in every nook and cranny!  

  

  

In spite of the fact that the discourse of the Holy Qur'an has been keen to address the Jews and the Christians with the phrase (People of the Book) in order to invite them to Islam, it was decisive without any courtesy when it resolved that:  

  

  

( لَّقَدۡ ڪَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلۡمَسِيحُ ٱبۡنُ مَرۡيَمَ )  

Surely, in disbelief are they who say that Allâh is the Messiah, son of Maryam (Mary) [Al-Maedah: 17].  

  

  

‌( لَّقَدۡ ڪَفَرَ ٱلَّذِينَ قَالُوٓاْ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ ثَالِثُ ثَلَـٰثَةٍ۬)  

Surely, disbelievers are those who said: "Allâh is the third of the three (in a Trinity) [Al-Maedah: 73].  

  

  

  ( وَقَالَتِ ٱلۡيَهُودُ عُزَيۡرٌ ٱبۡنُ ٱللَّهِ وَقَالَتِ ٱلنَّصَـٰرَى ٱلۡمَسِيحُ ٱبۡنُ ٱللَّهِ‌ۖ ذَٲلِكَ قَوۡلُهُم بِأَفۡوَٲهِهِمۡ‌ۖ يُضَـٰهِـُٔونَ قَوۡلَ ٱلَّذِينَ ڪَفَرُواْ مِن قَبۡلُ‌ۚ قَـٰتَلَهُمُ ٱللَّهُ‌ۚ أَنَّىٰ يُؤۡفَڪُونَ)  

  

And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allâh, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allâh. That is their saying with their mouths, resembling the saying of those who disbelieved aforetime. Allâh's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth [At-Taubah: 30].  

  

  

  

In the opening chapter of the Holy Qur'an (Al-Fatihah) Allah taught us the contrary of what those carried away by Western civilization want:  

  

  

( ٱهۡدِنَا ٱلصِّرَٲطَ ٱلۡمُسۡتَقِيمَ (٥) صِرَٲطَ ٱلَّذِينَ أَنۡعَمۡتَ عَلَيۡهِمۡ (٦) غَيۡرِ ٱلۡمَغۡضُوبِ عَلَيۡهِمۡ وَلَا ٱلضَّآلِّينَ )  

Guide us to the Straight Way. (5) The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, (6) not (the way) of those who earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians) [Al-Fatihah: 5-7].  

  

  

  

The Messenger of Allah, (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) has explained that "those who earned Allah's Anger "are the Jews, while "those who went astray" are the Christians.  

  

  

Third invalidator: To hate something of that, which was brought by the Prophet (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), even if he acts upon it: Such is disbelief, as Allah the Almighty said,  

  

  

  ( وَٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ فَتَعۡسً۬ا لَّهُمۡ وَأَضَلَّ أَعۡمَـٰلَهُمۡ ( ٨ ) ذَٲلِكَ بِأَنَّهُمۡ كَرِهُواْ مَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأَحۡبَطَ أَعۡمَـٰلَهُمۡ)  

But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allâh Islâmic Monotheism), for them is destruction, and (Allâh) will make their deeds vain. (8) That is because they hate that which Allâh has sent down (this Qur'ân and Islâmic laws etc.), so He has made their deeds fruitless. [Muhammad: 8-9].  

  

  

Even merely obeying those that hate what Allah has revealed in maliciousness for the deen (religion) is one of the things that invalidate Islam. Allah the Almighty said,  

  

  

  ( إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ٱرۡتَدُّواْ عَلَىٰٓ أَدۡبَـٰرِهِم مِّنۢ بَعۡدِ مَا تَبَيَّنَ لَهُمُ ٱلۡهُدَى‌ۙ ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ سَوَّلَ لَهُمۡ وَأَمۡلَىٰ لَهُمۡ)  

Verily, those who have turned back (have apostatized) as disbelievers after the guidance has been manifested to them — Shaitân (Satan) has beautified for them (their false hopes), and (Allâh) prolonged their term (age) [Muhammad: 25-26]; i.e.: They secretly support and consult with them in falsehood.  

  

  

This invalidator applies to those who hate and criticize the Law of Allah regarding the veil (hijab), or inheritance, or polygamy...! This also includes those who describe the quantified legal punishments (Al-Hudud) such as chopping off the hand of a thief and stoning the adulterous to death as brutality and barbarism!  

  

  

Fourth invalidator: To believe that the judgment and guidance of someone else is more perfect and better than the judgment and guidance of the Prophet, (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). Allah the Almighty said,  

  

  

( فَلَا وَرَبِّكَ لَا يُؤۡمِنُونَ حَتَّىٰ يُحَكِّمُوكَ فِيمَا شَجَرَ بَيۡنَهُمۡ ثُمَّ لَا يَجِدُواْ فِىٓ أَنفُسِہِمۡ حَرَجً۬ا مِّمَّا قَضَيۡتَ وَيُسَلِّمُواْ تَسۡلِيمً۬ا  )  

But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (O Muhammad (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission [An-Nisaa: 65].  

  

  

This invalidator applies to those who believe that man-made laws are better than the Islamic law, or equal to it, or that one may arbitrate them, even though he may believe that the Sharia law is better, or that the Islamic system does not fit to our time, or that it was the cause of the setback of the Muslims, or that it should be confined to one's relationship with his Lord, without interfering in other life affairs!  

  

  

Fifth invalidator: To take the idolaters as patrons and friends and to support them against the Muslims. The Holy Qur'an has forbidden this explicitly (in the words of Allah):  

  

  

( يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ عَدُوِّى وَعَدُوَّكُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءَ تُلۡقُونَ إِلَيۡہِم بِٱلۡمَوَدَّةِ وَقَدۡ كَفَرُواْ بِمَا جَآءَكُم مِّنَ ٱلۡحَقِّ )  

O you who believe! Take not My enemies and your enemies (i.e. disbelievers and polytheists) as friends, showing affection towards them, while they have disbelieved in what has come to you of the truth [As  

-Mumtahinah: 1].  

  

  

Almighty Allah also said,  

( يَـٰٓأَيُّہَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ لَا تَتَّخِذُواْ ٱلۡيَہُودَ وَٱلنَّصَـٰرَىٰٓ أَوۡلِيَآءَ‌ۘ بَعۡضُہُمۡ أَوۡلِيَآءُ بَعۡضٍ۬‌ۚ وَمَن يَتَوَلَّهُم مِّنكُمۡ فَإِنَّهُ ۥ مِنۡہُمۡ‌ۗ إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ لَا يَهۡدِى ٱلۡقَوۡمَ ٱلظَّـٰلِمِينَ )  

O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyâ’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliyâ’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as Auliyâ’), then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allâh guides not those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust) [Al-Maedah: 51].  

  

  

Anyone who does so has set himself free from Allah and Allah has acquitted Himself from him for apostatizing from Islam and embracing disbelief. May Allah safeguard against such.  

  

  

Sixth invalidator: Mocking anything of the religion of Allah: This is disbelief even if it were in form of jest:  

  

 ( قُلۡ أَبِٱللَّهِ وَءَايَـٰتِهِۦ وَرَسُولِهِۦ كُنتُمۡ تَسۡتَہۡزِءُونَ ( ٦٥ ) لَا تَعۡتَذِرُواْ قَدۡ كَفَرۡتُم بَعۡدَ إِيمَـٰنِكُمۡ)  

Say: "Was it at Allâh (the Most Purified and Exalted), and His Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations) and His Messenger (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him),  that you were mocking?" (65) Make no excuse; you have disbelieved after you had believed [At-Taubah: 65-66].  

  

Learned scholars have unanimously agreed that if a Muslim insults or disregards the religion of Islam or insults the Prophet (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him), or degrades or mocks him, he would be an apostate and disbeliever, whose blood and wealth would become lawful.  

  

  

Seventh invalidator: To embrace the principles and doctrines that are contrary to Islam: Anyone who believes that they are true, defends them, or encourages its people knowing that they are anti-Islam, has apostatized from the religion of Islam even though he prays, fasts and claims that he is a Muslim.  

  

  

Eighth invalidator: Magic. That a magician is a disbeliever is the opinion of a group of the noble companions of Prophet Muhammad (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). It is also the opinion of the four imams except Al-Imam As-Shafi'e because magic cannot be done except through collaboration and surrender to demons. So anyone that does something that necessitates disbelief; such as prostrating for demons and humiliating the Holy Qur'an has disbelieved, whether he is a magician or not. The proof of this is the word of Allah the Almighty:   

  

  

( وَمَا يُعَلِّمَانِ مِنۡ أَحَدٍ حَتَّىٰ يَقُولَآ إِنَّمَا نَحۡنُ فِتۡنَةٌ۬ فَلَا تَكۡفُرۡ‌ۖ   )  

But neither of these two angels taught anyone (such things) till they had said, "We are only for trial, so disbelieve not (by learning this magic from us) [Al-Baqarah: 102] .  

  

  

Ninth invalidator: Judgment by that not revealed by Allah. The Almighty said:  

  

( وَمَن لَّمۡ يَحۡكُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ ٱللَّهُ فَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ هُمُ ٱلۡكَـٰفِرُونَ  )  

And whosoever does not judge by what Allâh has revealed, such are the Kâfirûn (i.e. disbelievers - of a lesser degree as they do not act on Allâh's Laws). [Al-Maedah: 44].  

  

  

Anyone who judges by that which opposes the law of Allah, believing that it is better than Allah's judgment or that it is similar to it, is a disbeliever and one who has apostatized from Islam.  

  

  

As a matter of fact, just to advocate judging by other than what Allah has revealed is unbelief; we seek refuge in Allah from that.  

  

  

(أَلَمۡ تَرَ إِلَى ٱلَّذِينَ يَزۡعُمُونَ أَنَّهُمۡ ءَامَنُواْ بِمَآ أُنزِلَ إِلَيۡكَ وَمَآ أُنزِلَ مِن قَبۡلِكَ يُرِيدُونَ أَن يَتَحَاكَمُوٓاْ إِلَى ٱلطَّـٰغُوتِ وَقَدۡ أُمِرُوٓاْ أَن يَكۡفُرُواْ بِهِۦ وَيُرِيدُ ٱلشَّيۡطَـٰنُ أَن يُضِلَّهُمۡ ضَلَـٰلاَۢ بَعِيدً۬ا )  

Have you seen those (hypocrites) who claim that they believe in that which has been sent down to you, and that which was sent down before you, and they wish to go for judgement (in their disputes) to the Tâghût (false judges) while they have been ordered to reject them. But Shaitân (Satan) wishes to lead them far astray. (60) And when it is said to them: "Come to what Allâh has sent down and to the Messenger (Muhammad SAW)," you (Muhammad SAW) see the hypocrites turn away from you with aversion. [An-Nisaa: 60].  

  

  

  

Tenth invalidator: Abandoning the Salah (obligatory prayer): As for abandoning it out of denial of its obligation, such is disbelief according to the unanimous consensus of learned scholars. If one abandons it out of laziness, he should be ordered to observe it. However, if he insists on leaving it, he would have disbelieved, and May Allah safeguard us against that.  

  

  

Some evidence to substantiate this are the saying of the Messenger of Allah, (May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon him): "Between a man and disbelief and paganism is the abandonment of Salah (prayer)" (Muslim), and his saying: "The covenant that stands between us and them is prayer. He, who abandons it, becomes a disbeliever." (Ibn Majah).  

  

  

  

Second sermon:  

All praise is due and belongs to Allah alone. May the blessings and peace of Allah be upon the last Prophet.  

  

  

How happy would be he that comes to Allah with pure Islam on the Day of Resurrection! Such is the one whom the angels would receive and Ar-Rahman, the Most Gracious, would host and accommodate in the gardens in the heavens...  

  

  

How remorseful would be, one who embraced Islam, then perpetrated some of the invalidators of Islam, and consequently apostatized from Islam and landed in hell after he was just around the corner of Paradise! Such is a manifest loss:  

  

  

(وَمَن يَرۡتَدِدۡ مِنكُمۡ عَن دِينِهِۦ فَيَمُتۡ وَهُوَ ڪَافِرٌ۬ فَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ حَبِطَتۡ أَعۡمَـٰلُهُمۡ فِى ٱلدُّنۡيَا وَٱلۡأَخِرَةِ‌ۖ وَأُوْلَـٰٓٮِٕكَ أَصۡحَـٰبُ ٱلنَّارِ‌ۖ هُمۡ فِيهَا خَـٰلِدُونَ )  

And whosoever of you turns back from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, then his deeds will be lost in this life and in the Hereafter, and they will be the dwellers of the Fire. They will abide therein forever [Al-Baqarah: 217]  

  

  

  

( وَمَن يَكۡفُرۡ بِٱلۡإِيمَـٰنِ فَقَدۡ حَبِطَ عَمَلُهُ ۥ وَهُوَ فِى ٱلۡأَخِرَةِ مِنَ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرِينَ )  

And whosoever disbelieves in faith [i.e. in the Oneness of Allâh and in all the other Articles of Faith], then fruitless is his work, and in the Hereafter, he will be among the losers [Al-Maedah: 5].  

  

  

Slaves of Allah! Those are some of the things that invalidate Islam. Therefore, be wary of them and cling to the ties of Islam by which Allah has preferred you to many of His creatures.   

  

  

Invoke prayers and blessings of Allah upon the best of creation and the purest of humanity, whereby Allah has commanded you to do that in His Holy Book; saying:  

  

( إِنَّ اللَّهَ وَمَلَائِكَتَهُ يُصَلُّونَ عَلَى النَّبِيِّ يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا صَلُّوا عَلَيْهِ وَسَلِّمُوا تَسْلِيمًا )  

Allah sends His Salah (Graces, Honours, Blessings, Mercy, etc.) on the Prophet (Muhammad) and also His angels too (ask Allah to bless and forgive him). O you who believe! Send your Salah on (ask Allah to bless) him (Muhammad), and (you should) greet him with the Islamic way of greeting [Al-Ahzab: 56].
