خطبة نصر الله قريب باللغة الإنجليزية ( The Victory of Allah is Near )

Themes of the Sermon:

1-   The Unified Nation.

2-   Allah, the Helper.

3-   The humiliation of disbelievers to Allah.

4-   Reasons behind Victory.

5-   Between Fear and Pride.

Praise be to Allah, the One who dignifies Islam with His victory, humiliates polytheism with His power, directs the affairs by His command, and progressively lead the disbelievers to His scheme. He is the One who made the best outcome for his righteous with His grace, and made His religion prevail over all others. May Allah exalt and send peace to our Prophet, our role model, and our leader Muhammad, the Messenger of Allahﷺ , who completed the peace and prayers, and upon his family and companions, and whoever supports His religion and follows His guidance. To proceed:

Fear Allah, O servants of Allah, as He should be feared, and be conscious of Him in private and in public,

“O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared and do not die except as Muslims (in submission to Him).” (3-102)

Servants of Allah:

Indeed, the Islamic nation is one body, no matter how its regions are scattered, its races and colors differ, and its homes are distant. The believers are one nation, supporting and showing mercy to one another. Each one rejoices for the joy of his brother, and feels pain and sorrow for his affliction and suffering. Allah the Exalted says,

"The believing men and believing women are allies of one another"(3-71)

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The relationship of the believer with another believer is like a solid building, each strengthens the other." Narrated by Al-Bukhari. Indeed, what brings joy to the monotheists and comforts the eyes of believers is what Allah has satisfied the hearts of a believing people with through causing a serious blow to the enemies of Allah, the aggressor Zionists. This is from the great grace of Allah.

"Say, 'In the bounty of Allah and in His mercy - in that let them rejoice.” (10-58)

O Believers:

Indeed, Allah is the Guardian and the Helper, the victory is from Him and by His hand, He is the One who aids and supports the believers among His servants, and no creature can benefit or cause harm to himself, nor can it provide power or victory to others. The victorious is the one whom Allah supports, and the defeated is the one whom Allah forsakes.

People have taken gods other than Allah, hoping they would be helped. Yet, their homes are weaker than the spider's house. Allah said:

"But they have taken besides Allah [false] deities that perhaps they would be helped. They are not able to help them, and they [themselves] are for them soldiers [in attendance]."(36-74:75)

As for the believers, the motto and the title of their life is the saying of the Prophet (ﷺ): "O Allah, you are my support and my helper. With your help, I get strength and I attack the enemy, and defeat it, and with your help I fight in the battle." Narrated by Abu Dawood. They are completely certain in the words of Allah, the Exalted:

"And victory is not except from Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Wise." (3:126)

And His saying, the Exalted:

"If Allah should aid you, no one can overcome you; but if He should forsake you, who is there that can aid you after Him? And upon Allah let the believers rely." (3:160)

Allah is the Supporter because He alone possesses absolute power and capability. He, unquestionably, is the Creator and the Commander; there is no creature but that He holds its forelock. Allah is the Supporter because the earth and heavens and everything on them and in them, and, all of this is in His grasp, and subject to His command. He, Glory be to Him, has his own armies that no one knows but Him; He sends the wind, punishes with the cry, shakes the earth, sends lightning, and hurls stones from baked clay.

Allah said:

"Have they not traveled through the earth and observed how was the end of those before them? They were stronger than them in power, and Allah is not to be frustrated by anything in the heavens or on the earth. Indeed, He is ever Knowing and Competent." (35:44)

Servants of Allah,

Indeed, some people, because of their weak faith in Allah and what they see of the dominance of Allah's enemies, might think that the victory has forever become for the disbelievers, and that the Muslims have been decreed to be defeated forever. This is one of the methods of thinking ill of Allah.

How insignificant the disbelievers are to Allah, the Great, the Majestic. They are within His grip, their foreheads are in His hand, and they cannot frustrate Him. Is He not the One who said:

"And let not those who disbelieve ever think that [because] they are given respite, they will escape. Indeed, they will not cause failure [to Allah]." (8:59)

Has not Allah decreed humiliation, disgrace, and belittlement for those who disbelieve in Him and fight His religion? so He said:

"So, Allah made them taste disgrace in worldly life. But the punishment of the Hereafter is greater, if they only knew." (39:26)

And which people are more deserving of disgrace than the Jews, upon whom Allah has decreed humiliation and wretchedness, where Allah said about them:

"Humiliation is put over them wherever they may be, except for a rope from Allah and a rope from the people. And they have drawn upon themselves anger from Allah and have been put under destitution. That is because they disbelieved in the verses of Allah and killed the prophets without right. That is because they disobeyed and were transgressing." (3:112)

These Jews, scattered in all directions, killers of the prophets, who distorted the books of Allah, upon whom Allah's wrath descended and whom He cursed, scattered, and humiliated, and made them a sign for the world, their cowardice became apparent, and they ran away like rats, not standing up for anything.

O Believers,

Indeed, the victory of Allah is close to be achieved, it is not something impossible, nor is it a matter of fantasy. Did not our Lord say:

"Indeed, the help of Allah is near." (2:214)

Indeed, Allah is knowledgeable, mighty, wise. He supports whom He wills with His wisdom and might, whenever He wills. He does not rush to the impatience of His servants. Perhaps He delays victory for apparent wisdom no one encompasses it except He, Glory be to Him. Allah said:

“That is the command, and if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered armed struggle] to test some of you by means of others.” (47:4).

Perhaps Allah delays victory because the Ummah (Muslim community) has not yet fulfilled its prerequisites. Indeed, Allah has set conditions for victory and made causes for it. If the Ummah does not fulfill these, how can it attain victory?

Verily, the foremost and greatest of these prerequisites is faith in Allah, His oneness, reliance upon Him alone, sincere recourse to Him, and disavowing self-power and strength. As Allah said:

“And incumbent upon Us was support of the believers.” (30:47).

What kind of support or victory do the skeptics, the hypocrites, and those in whose hearts are doubt expect?!

And according to the servant's faith, Allah's support, victory, and aid will be granted. Therefore, the hearts of the monotheists are attached only to the Lord of the Worlds whom they seek his help and victory.

Consider Talut (Saul) and what happened to him, thousands went out with him raising the banner of jihad in the way of Allah, but only a believing faction stood firm against the hordes of disbelievers from Goliath's army. Allah described them by saying:

“But those who were certain that they would meet Allah” (2:249)

It means that they have full certainty in meeting Allah and the goodness of His reward. So, victory was their ally, despite their small number.

Then, the reward is according to the action. Whoever supports the religion of Allah, Allah takes him into His protection and supports him. As Allah said:

"O you who have believed, if you support Allah, He will support you and plant firmly your feet." (47:7).

Indeed, it is the divine decree of Allah, which is unchangeable:

"Indeed, Allah will certainly support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is powerful, and Exalted in might. Those who, if we give them authority in the land, establish prayer, give Zakat, and enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. And to Allah belongs the outcome of all matters." (22:40-41).

Whoever supports the command of Allah over his own desires, liberates himself from slavery, and becomes a sincere servant devoted to Allah. He is not lured by the adornments and beautification of this world, nor by his prohibited desires, and he is not swayed by anyone with authority or the power of the majority. His submission is only to Allah alone, with no partner.

Whoever supports the religion of Allah and His law, does not prioritize anything over it. Rather, he believes, submits, and surrenders himself to Allah.

Our Prophet (ﷺ) stood on the day of Hudaybiyah, saying to Umar bin Al-Khattab, may Allah be pleased with him: "Indeed, I am the Messenger of Allah, and I will not disobey Him, and He is my supporter." Narrated by Bukhari.

Those who are certain of this cannot seek victory in what incurs Allah’s wrath, who said:

"And do not incline towards those who do wrong, lest you be touched by the Fire, and you would not have other than Allah any protectors; then you would not be helped." (11:113).

Indeed, Allah does not grant victory to the idle cowards, nor to the weak who surrender, but the believers must be patient and steadfast, and seek help from the Ally, the Helper, as He, glory be to Him, said:

"And how many a prophet [fought and] with him fought many religious scholars. But they never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the steadfast. And their words were not but that they said, 'Our Lord, forgive us our sins and the excess [committed] in our affairs and plant firmly our steps and give us victory over the disbelieving people.'" (3:146-147).

May Allah bless me and you in the Great Quran, and benefit me and you with what is in it of verses and wise reminders, and I ask Allah for forgiveness for me and you, so seek His forgiveness. Indeed, He is the Forgiving, the Merciful.

The Second Sermon:

Praise be to Allah, and May Allah exalt and send peace to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), and his family and companions and whoever follows him. To proceed:

So fear Allah, O servants of Allah, as He should be feared, and be conscious of Him in private and in public.

O believers:

The discerning believer, who has been hardened by days and events, does not listen to the trembling of the tremblers, nor is deceived by the haste of the hasty, rather he takes his time and does not rush, and has full trust in the promise of Allah. Indeed, the word of Allah is the highest, and indeed, Al-Aqsa will return, standing lofty and great on the spears, purified from the filth of the occupying invaders.

O believers:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "A Muslim is a brother to a Muslim; he does not wrong him nor does he let him down." Narrated by Muslim.

Indeed, a believer never abandons or lets his brothers down, but he gives all he can to support his brothers.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Muslims are equal in respect of blood, the lowest of them can promise protection on their behalf, and they are a hand against others, the most distant among them being secured on their behalf, and they are a hand against others besides them, and their mighty ones will send back their weak and their forward ones will return to their rear ones." Narrated by Abu Dawood.

Therefore, the truthful in his happiness for the grace of Allah, and in his fear for his brothers, turns that into action. He does not leave any way to support his brothers except that he rushes to it, as much as he is able to do so. He prays for them, donates to aid them, allies with their allies, opposes their enemies, and incites support for them, until Allah completes His victory, and elevates His command, even if the disbelievers dislike it.

Then, pray and send blessings upon whom you are commanded to pray for: O Allah, exalt and send peace to our Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), and his family and all his companions.

O Allah, help our brothers who are striving in your path in Palestine, O Allah, be their supporter and helper, and their backer and protector, O Allah, protect them with Your protection, and shield them with Your care, and accept their martyrs, and heal their wounded, and comfort their afflicted, and steady their hearts.

O Allah, deal with the enemies of Islam, for they cannot overpower You, O Allah, fight the disbelievers among the People of the Book, who avert people from Your path, and deny Your messengers, and oppose Your religion, and inflict Your punishment and plague upon them, O God of Truth, Lord of the Worlds.

O Allah, show us a dark day in their lives, and let them taste disgrace in worldly life before the Hereafter, and confound their speech, and nullify their plots, and let their own plotting be their downfall. O Allah, the Revealer of the Book, the Mover of the clouds, the Defeater of the parties, defeat them and give us victory over them.

Servants of Allah: Remember Allah often, and glorify Him morning and evening, and our last call is that all praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds.
